This is the highest level of formal day wear. The outfit: a morning coat (black or grey, cutaway front) + striped formal trousers + a waistcoat (contrasting colour, usually grey or muted) + a wing-collar or turn-down collar dress shirt + a silk tie + polished black oxford shoes. Everything is structured and formal. Morning dress only happens before 6 PM. In your pocket: a top hat (optional but traditional) and gloves (optional).
